Şerife Selen Arıkan was born in Kahramanmaraş. In 2017, she graduated from KTO Karatay University Faculty of Law and started her legal internship in 2018. In her two-year career as a lawyer, she gained experience in different areas such as Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Labor and Social Security Law, Consumer Law, Criminal Law. In addition to her legal education, which she supported with internships and trainings during her student years, she is still continuing her Sociology education. She has been working as a lawyer at Alternatif Law Office since March 2020.
